Challenge 18: Be the Best

If you could invent something, what would it be, and why? (University of Virginia)

There is always room for improvement in whatever things we do. We make a lot of mistakes as humans, and we should learn from the many mistakes that we make. If I had the power to invent something practical, it would be performance tracker. This little gadget will be able to track how we are doing in life. It will be something that could help improve our performance in any field, everyday.

Will it not be cool to have something that could tell you when you were the fittest, or smartest, or fastest? This gadget will be very helpful because it will be able to help you plug into your body’s history, and check when you were the best at something. It will also be able to help you regain the traits that you once had. If you were really smart at one point in your life, this gadget will be able to tell you exactly when that time was, and give you instructions on how to be as smart again. It will tell what you did wrong that you ended up becoming less smart, and guide you to undo the mistakes that you made. Not only will you learn from your mistakes, but also from your achievements. It will tell you what you did to get a really cool hairstyle, and help you get the same hairstyle again. In adult terms, it will tell you what you did to make your family happy, and help you make them even happier.

The performance tracker will basically help us be the best that we can be. Our Brain is an unimproved version of this gadget. We are just too ignorant, and because of this we tend to repeat our mistakes, instead of learning from them. Every new day is a learning experience. If only we actually learn and become the best that we can be, the world will be so much better.
